About the event
Three Week Course on Acrylic Painting for Beginners with Barberton High School art teach Sarah Flower-McVey.
Saturdays - July 12th, July 19th, & July 26th // 2pm-4pm.
Over the course of three classes, participants will learn the essentials of color theory, landscape painting, realism, and abstract painting. No experience with acrylic painting necessary. Students will learn how to mix a limited color palette into a wide range of hues and how to approach different types of paintings. All supplies are provided.
Class for ages 14 & up.
Materials Provided
Acrylic paints
Paint brushes
Canvas
Palettes for mixing paint
What to Bring
Apron or old clothes. Please dress for art class.
Sketchbook for ideas and notes (optional)
Tickets purchased are for all 3 Saturday classes. Missed classes will not be refunded. (Registration required by the day before the class @ 6pm.)

White Rabbit’s Creative Connections Scholarship Fund offers full class scholarship opportunities for students 14 to 17 years old and seniors 65 and older with an interest in art and a financial need. This scholarship is intended to provide students with access to classes that will empower them creatively and nurture their artistic skills.
